My first LED saber

I've gotten most of the parts for my hilt. I'm expecting the rest early next week. Its a very simple design but everyone starts somewhere. Giving up online gaming to make lightsaber building my new hobby. What does everyone think so far?

Fairly basic but looks to be a good start; I have a design similar to this as well. I think need some more pictures or at least a render of the final design and some info on the internals (LED, sound, batteries, etc).

Looks nice and clean! I love a simple saber. But what color LED is in there? What about the guts?

I am putting a royal blue luxeon rebel in it. I have the battery pack and the switch wired and I will have the led and other parts Tuesday to complete it.

Well that's it. I'm happy with the way it turned out. I am going to make some minor adjustments like fill in the gaps between the o-rings to make it look more like a grip, add a clip, and possibly shorten the blade a little. I had to take my switch out and resolder a wire because it came loose. This royal blue luxeon rebel is amazing as you can see in one of the pictures.
