View Full Version : My 2 handed dueling monster.....

This is my new 2 handed dueling saber, and it works well. I wanted to come up with something different, and here it is. Hope you like the pics, and let me know what you think.

It is powered by two 9 volt batteries. One for the MR Darth Maul board and white P4 with color disks. The other is for the 6 yellow LED indicators. I uses the color disks to make an amber colored blade. Above the LED's I alternated between two different thumb screws. The saber is painted silver and black, with blue industrial reflective tape to match the blue illuminated switch. If you have any questions let me know.

What was the inspiration for this beheamoth? It looks a bit bigger than a 2-hander. Looks like a 4 or 5 hander...
It is very different, that's for sure. Different is good. Is it like a pike or some kind of staff/sword combo?

I like it! History in many cultures have a Great-sword of some kind.
The Japanese Odachi,
The Chinese Changdao,
The German Zweihänder,
and My favorite,
The Scottish Claymore.
So Why not the Jedi?
The only thing I'm not crazy about Is you beat me to it.;)

It is just a 2 handed saber. I have put a 40 inch blade in it and it is pretty comfortable and balanced to duel with. But, I am over 6 ft tall, so that may have something to do with it also. My inspiration was to have a comfortable 2 handed saber without any switches in the middle, plus trying to do something I have not seen done before. The hilt is about 16 inches long. Thanks for the questions.

I doubt you're going to get an answer. This thread is years old, and that member hasn't been on in over 2 years.
