Little glue on the tip of the LED

There's a little drop of hot glue on the tips of the LED. I ripped about 1/2 of it off by mistake. What kinds of problems am I going to have with it?

What LED? where'd you get it? Ripped off the hot glue? or part of the LED?

You really need to provide more information, a picture, etc.

That isn't hot glue, it's a lens.
You will need to replace the LED.
