I just ordered a bunch of parts from Corbin, and now he is on vacation.

I'm trying to figure out from Corbin's diagrams what and how I'll be connecting parts, but I have some questions. Is anyone here familiar with Corbin's parts, and actually USED them all? I will explained in a minute what I what to try to do.

1) Can the PLI be set up to be always on, running on 6v, without burning out?

2) Can the resonator be set to always on, running on 6v, without burning out?

So, I ordered the momentary version of the 3w board, and just now realized that in order to connect a MR FX sound module, I need the latching version! Arrgggg!

So, my base parts are: 3w led, 3w momentary driver, PLI, resonator motor, and 4AA alkalines for 6v. I'd love to figure out how to connect the FX sound module too, sometime.

I could use more clarification on a few more points, but I'll see how far I get with these items, to start off with.

I'm also on a time crunch, as I'm going to a huge (local) convention in 6 days.

Thanks in advance.

You need the latching version, there really is no way around that if you want the resonator and PLI always on. It may be cause to rethink it though as having those both on will drain the batteries even faster.

Is the latching version so you can hit the button/switch and it will stay on without holding it and the momentary is how long you hold it?

On Corbin's it really doesn't make a difference in how you use it... the only difference you might notice on a pushbutton is latching switches usually stay in place when pushed.

"the momentary is how long you hold it" this case would be if you used a momentary switch on a latching board.

Ranger, I thought about it but the only way to have a constant on for the PLI and resonator would be a THIRD latching switch to control those... LAME!

I don't want to even start thinking about how to get that all on with the MR board... other that 4 pole swith. It hurts my brain...[:p]
