This is my first MHS saber build. It's also my first saber with electronics. I've built several static sink-tube sabers, but this was definitely a whole new experience!

I'm sorry that this isn't much of a build thread, since I didn't take photos of the painting process. But I suppose it at least proves that I built it! Haha...

Tapping the blade retention screw hole in the emitter.

Obi-Wan 2010 Econo board (sorry for the bad close-up!)

Econo board wired up to switch & LED. I literally said "Holy crap! I did it!" when I powered it on! Haha....

Again, I forgot to take a picture of adding the cellophane (Dollar General gift wrap) to the inside of the blade, but it is diffused. The blade is TCSS Thick Walled 1 inch Trans White.

Final Result!

Since there aren't many photos, feel free to ask me anything about the build process that I may not have covered!

Good looking green saber you got there Steg - need some more shots of the hilt, but from what I can tell, looks nice.

Thanks, KH. I didn't put many hilt shots in the build thread, because I've got a lot of shots of the hilt in a separate gallery thread... check it out! Resilience by stegasp (http://forums.thecustomsabershop.com/showthread.php?12963-Resilience-by-stegasp)

Your wires could be a bit shorter in places, but I really love the clean lines and simplicity of the hilt.
Great work!

@thejedilestat: Haha! I've already started planning a PVC saber for my nephew & another MHS build for my wife! So "in good time" was about a day...

@skottsaber: Yeah, the wires are a bit long in some places. I was worried about them not being long enough! I guess I shouldn't have been. I ended up coiling them around a pencil! And, of course, thank you for the compliments!
