Hi guys: recently, I was playing with my cat (who secret identity is Darth Meaowl a sith lord) and during the fight the PolyC blade of my saber got some scratches on it. My little brain [:I] thought that sandpaper would help and it did but it also add an undesirable[xx(] "frost" look to the blade. What can I do to get the clear look that it had at the begining? Does anybody has a anti-age potion for it?
Please help...[V]

Hmm, maybe being very careful with some ultra clear wax and it has to be completely see-through. Then maybe you could take that and slowly go up and down the blade filling up the scratches and holes with the wax. Maybe it'll work maybe not, just a thought.

You can use some 1000 or 2000 grit sandpaper to further smooth the area then try some Novus #2 plastic polish and it should restore the shine, you can also apply some liquid auto wax for clear coat paint and wax the entire blade to get a uniform shine.

Just a suggestion I've seen modelers do to jet canopies. Future Floor Wax.

Yeah if you sand the scratches out and use either plastic or Plexi polish it will look good as new.

Friend of mine and I were dueling behind where I work after I got off (yea he's odd...) anyway, he dropped his damn saber and it's got scratches now. Think the 1k or 2k grit paper and plexi polish will clear that up?

Mostly small ones...almost like "dents" or "chips". As though he dropped it on some very small, and sharp, rocks.

You will be able to sand most of it if not all of it out, then use a good plastic polish and it should good again.
