First Saber, Plz Help me to check

hey, this is my first time buying custom saber parts. after read and doing research.

this is my buying list:
- 1" Thick walled Polycarbonate 40" long (No)
- Shouldered 1" thick walled blade tip with reflective disc
- 1-1/4" x 12" Chrome sink tube
- 1-1/8" Chrome end cap
- 1.25" Sink tube LED/Blade holder
- Covertec Clip
- 12 Colored Discs
- 4AA Battery holder
- Push on/push off switch with red button
- Luxeon Rebel Star (Red)
- Luxeon Rebel Lens Holder
- Luxeon Collimator Lens 8.7 deg viewing angle
- 2.2ohm 5w resistor

are they any items that i miss out to built a complete a LED lightsaber? are there any better alternative?

ps* actually my first choice is using P4 red, but the custom saber do not have stock.

If you want a red blade you won't need the colored discs with a red led. If you want to be able to change colors you will need a white led with the discs.

If you wish to take some of the guess work out of the electronics, I would recommend a 4 wire BuckPuck 1000mA (http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/BuckPuck-1000mA-4-wire-P364.aspx)

is the heatsink, rebel star and the lens holder compatible?

I would do a 36" blade 40" is just too long and makes the saber a little off balance

The Lens will work regardless of your LED of choice. I've not used the bladeholder you are looking to use, but I can't see why it would not be compatible.

I have used that blade holder numerous times and its a good item for the 1 1/4 sinktube
it makes no difference with the lens holder and lens will work just fine

side note use teh thermal tape pad
