Wow, arrogant add, but does anyone know what the fiber optic material used in these blades is? Looks like a pretty uniform blade...

they don't look brighter than tcss if you look at the pics on their other auctions but I don't know how they have all the colors, do they use discs or switches or what? They don't look worth the purchase compared to the grandaddy tcss or if someone doesn't want a custom ultra is better and makes it affordable. I don't recommend these even though they look okay I just have a bad feeling about them.

Oh I totally agree, as far as the saber goes it looks no better than TCSS or ultra plus there's really no customization factor. I hope it's ok to post this link also, being a competitors ad. I'm not recommending this guy or anything. Like I said I think the saber possibilities here are much better. I just was wondering about the "fiber optic" material in the blade and if anyone else had experimented with it.

The real bullsnitz deal on that is if they are using the same discs as everyone else then there is no way they are getting a good red like the group shows. Now that I think about it don't most of the blues look a little more colorful then they should be[?]

If and I mean If he's actually using a "patented" Fiber-op diffuser, he's using Side Glow Fiber optic cable.

Guys this has been proven though, if you run the 3 watt off the MR board it is not as bright as if you run it off the battery and resistor. Try the discs in a regular saber before you dis him. Also, if he is using sideglow cable thats a huge step for lightsaber building. I'm tried of seeing people knock someone for trying something new. There are many products out there we don't have to dis any because it isn't made by you know who. Competetion breeds advancement.

It's not new... Corbin has played with sideglow and it's not worth the hassle. Frankly I don't think the pics mean a thing on his auctions. The "competitor's" pic looks pretty even if you take out the bulb. The bulb is so out of character with the rest of the blade that I'm inclined to say that they're overeposing the pics.

We all now anyway that Fiberoptics does not net rid of the base flare and all it takes is a mirror to even the rest of the blade out. So even if it is a little more even you are gaining lots of weight in the blade.

As for the resistoring I don't think it's worth it. Only on the Red/Yellows the MR isn't pushing enough out of the LED. Even then it's still brighter than the stock. So again the benifits are marginal because with the MR board you have a fade in and out as opposed to the resistored instant on/off.

Slackfarm is at it again, I see. This guy does this thing all the time, he puts up some auctions, sells some sabers, then disappears for months.

His propoganda is all BS. Strydur has shown many times that a Lux 3 is no brighter when ran off a resistor and 6 volts than when ran off the MR board. He has pics on the forum to prove it. Slackfarm says the MR board puts out only 350ma, which is a flat out lie. Tell me how MR ignites a string of 64 LEDS rated at 20ma each with only 350ma. Common sense, people.

Some people gotta lie to sell sabers. It's sad, really.

the comparison picture is all even but the different color pictures are uneven like all lux sabers(to a certain degree)
