Cool, the light is way better than other light whips I've seen. It needs to be way longer IMO though. 10 feet would be a good length, but I don't know if the light would go that far down the tube.

Looks good with a string of LEDs. Are you also using a foam diffuser? How are you going to compensate for the need of the whip to spin independently of the hilt?
One thing I found while I was messing with the fiber whips was that holding the hilt firmly and using the whip, if the whip wasn't aloud to spin freely in the blade holder it would start to twist and get week at the twist point. That was why I had to go totally independent for the adapter. The fiber can spin freely like a propeller while in the blade holder.

It's bright, but it doesn't look very "whippy", IMO.
