Corbin power up?

I've been looking around for this and havent found it anywhere. I've read some stuff saying that if you use a corbin film blade and a the driver you will get the power up/down affect, but I have yet to see any videos of this, and frankly it makes no sense to me. Could someone please explain how were going to slow down light going up the blade or post a video? Thanks a lot.

It is more like a "filling: of the blade.... a fade in/out. THe Corbin film will make it look like the blade fills at the bottom then the top...

Ok, that makes sense. So the light just dims, but the film absorbs/diffuses a lot of the light so at dim lightings it will only fill up part of the blade. Does that sound right?
