I purchased it on Ebay, for less then half of what it goes for on Master Replicas website [^][:D][8D] Another auction with 14 left is still going, get yours while they're RED HOT!

Now Wolverine, it just wouldn't be proper to have you dualing to long with a EPV FX. Sounds like you need a scratch built EPIII Luxeon with sound to go with that lovely LE hilt there. I keep staring at the pics, that puppy is beautiful for sure.

I was gonna make a LUX saber from this, but Do-Clo talked me out of it, Citing that it has a MSRP of $359.00 (which is what MR sells them on their site for), and I just got it for $148.00, so don't mess it up!!! [V][^]

I need that emitter... (the black piece)

I've broken mine 3times now, it's split in half, and the protruding part is now completely gone!

Can you get replacement parts for this? With that one it would be hard to brake.

That and I managed to brake the clash sensor somehow, cuz it don't work no more... And I don't know if I can get it appart to fix it[?][:(]

Kind of ironic that it was never actualy used in the movie. lol

Firebird the piece you need can be found on ebay from time to time do a search for graflex and you should find it. The ones they have are made of metal and will not break on you. One guy even has then in chrome finish, very cool indeed. I have a spare clash sensor if you need it let me know.

I can get you a clash sensor too. I've fried enough sound boards that I can spare one or two to you.[:I]

Thanks guys!

I've just got to get past the daunting task of getting the blade holder back out of the hilt to get to the sensor. Any tips?

BTW... It's got some rust in the "Wire holes". (from using it with dew on the ground) Fun fun... nothing like adding a little glue to the problem! lol Or maybe it's more like Lock-tite.

Firebird, in the very few times i've had to remove the blade holder from one of my Vader FX's, was due to a clash sensor I thought was fried, and turned out the solder on the wire that attaches it to the mini-board, just came off. [:(]
Anyway, I bent a penny nail in a vise, and used that to grab ahold of the hole that the thumscrew goes into (from the inside), and used a pair of pliers to pull it up. [;)] Hope that helps you [^]

Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately I have to be careful with those threads because I've already cross threaded them once. I had to screw the thumb screw in from the inside out? It's harder than it sounds...[:0]

I'm hoping that that's the same issue with mine. So it should be a quick fix. But it's good to know I have a couple available just incase.

That’s sweet man!!! That seller’s prices are really good; he’s where I got my double bladed Maul from for less than $150, BUT I paid the extra $$ for priority shipping and he still sent it UPS ground. It’s been three weeks now and about 15 emails I’ve sent him and he still hasn’t replied to any of them to offer a solution.
Just FYI to any of you considering doing business with him, that’s all.
To be honest his prices are so low that even I’m even considering buying some more stuff from him, and just paying for the normal shipping.

Um, yeah...

I just checked my Vader again...

It fixed itself...

The condensation must have shorted something out. Lets just hope it stays fixed. I doubt it. There's obviously an issue in there.

Have it, Tried it, Doesn't work... that well.

It's a very tight fit and it needs a little modification around the "U" opening on the top.

I suppose I could make it work, but the sidewalls would be very thin and it would end up splitting again. If it did fit it would be a much better replacement because the resin is more flexible than the plastic and is, therefore, harder to brake.
