Nice sleek simple design.
The cyan looks quite a bit more greenish than I'd thought.
I personally like the blue better, but that's just me.

I can tell you what I don't like.

That Covertec button looks strange and out of place to me on that blade holder.

I have to agree with JL on this one....personal preferance and all so not knock'n ya.

Understood :)
But it has two points - first is that I did not want to have a button in the middle of sabers length, because I think it is not practical if something yours fall on the floor and you have to bend down for it :D the saber is not only a piece of design for me, I fight with it too and visiting cons.
And second one is there is no another place to put the button except bladeholder and mid section of saber. Because everywhere else you cant put it because of inside hilt threads.

And I had one funny moment when I connected cyan led and turned it on with blade first time :D It looked green, but the camera and webcamera showed it like cyan :D So I didn´t know if Im blind or what :D
I have to say that Im disappointed with Cyan rebel star. I wanted to have the same color as the saber Obi-wan gave Luke in episode IV in old version of movie (I have it on videocasette) and there it was really cyan

Nice saber. I definantly like that blue more. What soundboard do you got?

Just wondering @Malakay. Is the corbin battle blade even to you in person or did you add more cellophane in it for a more even blade? I'm going to use one in a Luke 2005 MR ROTJ conversion this weekend.

I know your question was directed to Malakay but I just put a Corbin blade on a converted Anakin ROTS that I finished recently (see my avatar and profile pic) and I personally didn't like it. It was even and I sanded it with 800 grit paper for more diffusion, but the light just didn't carry up the blade like a trans-white blade does (like an Ultraedge or TCSS trans-white). I added some cellophane but that made the effect worse, IMPO.

I can tell you what I don't like.

That Covertec button looks strange and out of place to me on that blade holder.

I started a build on the "Pink 5" Stacey Saber which had the covertec up near the choke, and I loved the placement! The draw-to-ignition (if a blade were to emit from it) was very nice and quick. Just unclip and push the activator. Also, the covertec added a pivot-point while swinging it around. It just looks odd because most of the builds standardly have the knob there. My next build will have it up high like that.

They're on two completely different days. Could he have edited the earlier post? Sure. Does it matter? I don't think so.

LOL, I can't believe I missed the two month gap! HAHA. Good catch J-Lo!

Those 2 posts were 2 months apart. So it's not really double posting.

It would be different if it was 2 posts within hours, or minutes. That would be double posting.

Thanks for the reminder to people, nully, but on this one, relax. ;)

It is corbin battle blade in the state i bought it here on TCSS.no any adds :-) it has no soudboard at the moment.I was making a wiring diagram and now is complete.so only thing i have to buy is 5V regulator and then i will make it complete
i have soundboard dismounted from this saber :
http://www.amazon.com/Hasbro-Obi-Wan-Action-Extending-Lightsaber/dp/B000EGDEBM

I wanted to buy Covertec belt clip, but it was sold out so i had to make it myself.

I used to think I was the only one who liked the covertec wheel on the emitter. That's one of my favourite parts of this saber. The Seoul 4 looks better imo.

Also.. the O-Rings to form a pseudo-grip is awesome too. I love doing that too. It looks like a good saber, but a little.. long. That just might be my crappy depth perception though.

Malakay

yes i know it is long.i built shorter one before but there wasnt enought place inside the hilt for electronics :-( so i made little upgrade
take a look at my post before - i added some photos

That first picture with you holding the saber would be so much better if it were actually turned on..

But yeah, it looks better than I thought. The belt looks great too. The soundboard is an econoboard, right? (I'm still learning, I wanna be sure I'm using terms correctly.)

perhaps it is.i call it cheapo :D and some other members too. Im here new too. The first photo is a problem. Those pictures are taken by my dad. He has very good camera and he makes photos in the studio, but if the camera flashes, it lights so lot that the saber glowing is not visible, and on the contrary without flash camera sets time about 15 seconds and it is blurred because noone can stand still without any move for 15 sec. :(

If I can make a suggestion.. just turn all the lights out, turn on the lightsaber and turn the flash on the camera off. The light should radiate and light up the room; at the very least, your face and body. Makes for a rather menacing photo, if you ask me.

i know where this is going. me and father, we are both photographers.this is problem of his camera´s optics. not enough luminosity in objective.if lights are off and flash too, it is not enough to catch whole character, maybe only a face, but i dont need this photo.
it is a pity that the best photos are taken accidentaly :D like this one
