MySpace is the pretty much the worst part of the internet, IMO. There are much better options. I have an LJ and Facebook (college only really) that covers the ligitamate uses of MySpace.

BTW, I loved the post the worst MySpace thread at SomethingAwful. The pages made me barf.[xx(]

We older folks are behind the times on some of the new fangled internet sites. MS is just an easy way yo keep up with old friends, or get spamed from "view my webcam" sites, rofl

Okay to explain, I am an older person I am not on it but know about it because the Admin. is a member of Lining up. Myspace is a message board/Chat/Personal Site kind of thing that works kind of like evite. There are others like DeviantArt.com for Artists out there and too many more to list here. I hope this helps, I would join but 1. I am happily married and 2. I am already trying to keep up with 3 message boards don't have the time for one more.[:p][:D]

MySpace is a place where you are given a page and use it to "social network". It's part blog, part attention whore (pictures), and part "keep in touch sort of thing" (comments), etc...

It was originally invented for bands to post samples and make connections, but it has turned into something else as anyone can get one. Now it is mostly used to post silly pictures and make pages that will make DSL lag.[:p]

Check the ones posted to get an idea of what it's all about.
