Hello from Southern California! I've been a silent observer of this site for some time now, and finally made the effort to create an account. I am planning on creating a saber eventually but for the time being I am absorbing as much information as I can. I look forward to building a saber with you guys, and am awed by some of the work I have seen so far!

On a side note, this forum community seems to be one of the nicest and most polite I have ever stumbled upon. I really appreciate that, its a rare thing!

Ya its gonna be quite awhile before I attempt a saber. I know one of the best ways to learn is to get my hands dirty but I'd like to have some idea of what my wallet and I are getting into before I dive in. So, how many sabers have you guys made since you got into this hobby?

I've made about 30 or so sabers, 10 being hardware and the other being PVC

i've made 7 sabers and 2 conversions ...on 8the saber now

I've build around a dozen sabers over the years. 2 EL sabers, the first one in 2002, and 10 LED sabers, 3 for myself and the rest for friends.

And I've probably made around 50 EL blades, back in the years before the LED saber "revolution".

My first was an ultrasabers Dominix...

Since then, I've made 17 and counting :mrgreen:

100% serious. That does not count all of the Saberforge's that I have repaired for folks either ;) it does count conversions however.
