This thread will be my official thread on my Graflex with full Crystal Chamber Chassis.

I will constantly update the first couple posts to make it easier for people to follow. This is my first 'build thread' for ANYTHING, please bare with me (support is very welcome, it is a great source of motivation).

PART I -Delayed Arrival-

After many rising and setting of the sun, my Graflex 3 Cell has arrived. A faithful clone provided by Master Tim 'Strydur'. Where it lacked in vintageniousity (yes i made up a word), it made up in potential.

The primary source of delay came from a faulty hypderdrive engine, causing the intergalactic postal-ship delays. The secondary source of delay, came from scrupulous and greedy Toydarian custom officers with held onto the cargo for two weeks.

With the precious cargo finally in my hand, i decided to snap some photos before and after dis-assembly:

Whats inside a Graflex 3 cell? Here are some of the parts:

PART II -Crystal Chamber Chassis-

Parts have arrived fresh from the workshop of Master Gabywan. His famous Crystal Chamber Chassis, as a custom ordered DIY kit, ready for my personal modifications.
A FULL review will be posted on FX-Sabers forum later.

I would personally like to thank everyone that help make this possible. From TCSS forum providing information, to members (you know who you are) that took the time to help me, and even find me certain parts (again you know who you are).

THANK YOU!!!!

You! Now I know who bought the last graflex I've been so tempted to buy but now I have to scavenge or wait for months when I'm ready to buy one...argh!

Just sharing my envy. It's nice to know it's in such good shape and I'm sure you'll give it a good home. Looking forward to seeing what you do with it.

Edit...you could always edit your first post to add updates.

It's called art.

Very cool. What are you planning with it? What kinda soundboard?

To the angry crowd... i was told you can only put a certain amount of pictures in one post (i think i was told 6 or 9 max). Hence me reserving future space so you guys don't have to go through pages to find updates ;) See... i'm being all nice & considering... Tsk you guys don't deserve it :p

And CC... i actually have a couple graflex sitting here now :p

You can put any number of pictures in a post if you use the [img] tags.
Attachments are limited IIRC.

Added photos on first post.

Note... I took those quickly, I'm snowed in and away from my equipment.

even without your equipment and being snowed in, your skill with a camera is such that you could take great pictures with a .3MP webcam and a polaroid. ^_^

looks awesome. what about a pic of the wiring though? can we see one of those?

Wow.. I didn't remember that I saw this before...

As I'm planning for a Graflex myself, now I'm tempted to get one of those kits from Gaby.

Awesome work!

Great work!!

I'd love to see more pics of your emitter plug and the pics you lost. Did you try hooking the harddrive up to another machine to try getting the pics off?

The HDD had a physical break down... I had to replace it (urgh). It literally happen right before my back up session...

I'll grab more pics as soon things calm down, but its pretty much the TCSS blade plug which i combined with the Graflex bulb connector.
