im constructing a MHS hilt with and exposed crystal chamber and an anti-vandal switch. with an Obi Wan ROTS Hasbro sound board. i am using the "Double male with slots" extension as my chamber with a 1.2 double female adapter on each side using a gender changer on the hilt end of it. (that way i have more room for wiring and the stems of the "Makototsai LED V3") i used 2 "MPS Insert style 6's" as the 2 bases for the LED bezels. i connected the 2 +'s & the 2 -'s from the Luxeon 3 Star & the Makototsai LED V3 to a "2 Wire quick connector." now here's my issue, the battery pack pushes the sound board behind the switch hole and it sticks up pass the "MHS hilt style 4's" threads, there's no room to put the anti-vandal switch in?? plus the sound board's wire harness clipped to the 2 ends of the LED's on the 2 wire quick connector is also seeming a bit cramped. i already have a blade hold, choke, double female, slot extension, double female, and hilt and pommel, the saber is so long and heavy i don't want to make it any longer or heavier. but, i am out of room for the switch and sound board harness!!

advice? any1? please?

i can afford to buy parts 1 to 2 times a month. i have everything i need to finish FINALLY, i have been working on this since Feb.

i just need a little tiny bit of advice...

should be able to do what you need on a 18650, may have to use two but i dont think so, that will free up almost half your hilt

you could do one of these
http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/TrustFire-Protected-37V-2400mAh-18650-Lithium-Battery-2-pack-P517.aspx
or two of these
http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/TrustFire-Protected-37V-900mAh-14500-Lithium-Battery-2-Pack-P342.aspx
with both you would need one of these

okay okay, i know how to install a rechargeable lithium ion battery pack and all, but i don't have the money for all that right now. is that really my only option is to do that JUST to shorten the battery pack by 2 batteries?? cuz yes that would open enough space for my sound board but it'll be a little costly and i just can't afford it right this minute.

get a pair of 2aa holders i guess, from pommel up 2aa, hasbro obi, switch, 2aa then your crystal chamber, and i wasnt trying to lecture about how to wire a recharge setup and you had not mentioned it was outside your budget...

I'd agree with JJ.
The only thing you can make smaller inside your hilt is the power source.
You might also try to check the length of your wiring, it can take up quite a bit of space.
