Anyone see this at C5. http://www.amazon.com/Jedi-Path-Manual-Students-Force/dp/1603800964/ref=sr_1_1?s=gateway&ie=UTF8&qid=1285637771&sr=8-1 My copy comes tomorrow. They had a demo of it at the show and I flipped through it a little and it looks really cool.

I got a US account (and a CAD one lol), i can get it for $60 and ship it to NY.

It looks nice, but im really weary about the content. I'm waiting for someone to post up a review with a couple pics or something.

Iv already been had with similar products that look all nice on the outside, and once you open them... bleah.

Just that awesome pop-up case alone makes it worth it to me.

I got mine! I made a video but my connection sucks. It said it would take six hours to unload. I took pictures of the extra stuff. I'll get some scans from the book and upload them. The only things I couldn't get pictures of is a note from Luke about how the pages about the chosen one that were ripped out before he got it, the inside front cover where there are names of the jedi who have had this issue of the book, and a patch for the jedi starfighter squadron.

I told my wife that's what I want for Christmas. So hopefully Santa will put it under our tree this year.

So far the books is pretty good. Each section is from a master of that field. When they talk about fighting styles they have a weapons master talk about it. Im not really that far into it but the side comments on the pages are cool except from ashoka. Her comments are all kinda stupid (personal opinion).

Does it actually have some good techniques in there, or is more The Philosophy and The Same Stuff you can find on the net?

The forms are all there, but my favorite section is the marks of contact. They actually show where on the body the marks are located. The forms start with form zero and go up to the form seven which isn't really a form just a theory. The book also has which saber hilts i.e. double bladed, curved, etc... are good for certain forms.

It seems we "dark" siders get left out again....when are they going to understand that their are just as many jedi "lovers" out there as Sith-iacs. We want a manual to dang it...hell if that jedi manual could still exsist after the purge than a sith holo-crom gotta be out there somewhere.

I started reading my copy today. I find all the side comments in the book to be destracting when reading

Look into the Dark Jedi Brotherhood...their lightsaber guide PDF and flow chart are especially interesting and they cover more than just the seven JEDI forms including Dun Moch, Trakata and Lus Ma etc all from a Dark Side perspective.
