Here is one of my latest sabers and I am calling it Viridis Patronus which is latin for Green Protector. It has a Maul FX board and has a custom 4 AAA NiMH battery pack with in hilt recharge system. I am using a green Cree LED and a silver guarded Switch. It has a crystal chamber with 2 small brass tubes to hide the wires. It has some vulcan black PC on the grip section and dark gloss green on some of the other parts of the hilt and I made some brass trim rings to add some accent. (thanks for the idea on those Fender)

Very nice!

Is that MHS or custom? Looks really well fabricated, if not!

Thanks LDM. That means a lot coming from you. This saber is really starting to grow on me. The longer I keep it the more I like it. I have been doing lots of practice on my sabers here lately and I hope people can see the difference in my work. One think I would like to ask from y'all, will you please be honest about my work from here on out? I want to improve my sabers and need y'alls help to do it. I am open to suggestions too for all my upcoming sabers.

Fantastic work there Rhyen! The gold accents and massive emitter really make this one stand out.

Looks nice Ryhen. Great perspective on the feedback. I feel the same way. Trying to please everyone isn't easy, but getting outside perspectives can be an eye opener. I really like the PC colours and brass accents, however IMO, the emitter is kind of large. I like the look of it but for me it's the scale. Otherwise great job and the machining and overall another great saber build.

PS. Your pics look better. New cam?

I intentionally made emitter the very large. It is for a friend of mine who teaches some kids and several of us adults how to duel and he wanted something that would cut down on his knuckles getting hit from the other persons blade. The large emitter will act like the guard on a sword does. I normally keep my emitters under 1.75". Fender was a huge help to me with the color scheme and the idea to add the brass rings. (Thanks Bro)

Yes I did get a new camera, backdrop and a light. I still need to diffuse the lighting a little better, but the pictures are WAY better than they were before. Thanks for noticing. :D

That's really nice. I especially like the green PC parts and the emitter and pommel.
Do you fabricate your parts on a lathe or mill?

I use both a lathe and a mill. I started out with just a dremel and a hand drill, then moved up to a lathe, then a couple of months I got a mill. It has been a HUGE learning experience.
