help with dooku fx saber

I bought the conversion kit and am getting the dooku saber disassembled but I find it very hard to get the bell and gold greeblie off can some one who has disassembled it before tell me how it is done . Any hep would be appreciated as it is hard to look at a stripped saber

I just had to pry the golden greeblie from the bell

How did you pry it? Can you describ it in more detail? I bought the the Dooku lightsaber, and I want to do the conversion too. The golden greeblie glued with the bell. I can't take them off.
