Here there is my white lightsaber, I called it astra because the luxV lights the saber as a star!
Description:
MHS Blade Holder style 3
MHS Choke style 2
MHS Choke style 1 short (for the Obi-Wan epI style pommel)
MHS Ribbed Extension
2" Extension
Standard Style Latching switch
Resistor
9V battery (I know it is not efficient, but I'm not expert and I didn't want to use the powerfull Li-Ion batteries, and there was really little space in this hilt, I have to change the battery from the Choke!)
LuxV white 280 lumen

Maybe I will paint:
The ribbed section with black grooves,
Gold style 2 Choke,
Bronze 2" Extension,
Black style 1 short Choke.

I hope you will like this!

Nice use of parts... I like how everything flows together... That's a really bright white! :)

Really cool look. It looks like your blade could move from one side to the other! ;)

On a side note, how come some people position their hilts between two MR stands? Does it not fit correctly on one?

This hilt is too short to fit on one.

Thank you all!

Aha! I see, now. I don't have one of those stands, yet, so I wasn't sure what the issue with them is.

Nice use of that choke as part of the pommel....almost looks a bit Obi-wan TPM-ish...sorta....;)

This turned out very well.
Like some of the others i have to say you made excellent use of those parts. :)

Nice! I like the use of chokes too. I'm sure it will look even better with some paint/weathering. It's worth taking the time at this stage to consider several options.

You could easily fit 4AAA nimh in the ribbed section I believe...unless I'm missing something.

Yes, the space is totally enough, but 4AAA are not enough (sorry for the pun - is that the right word?) for the LuxV, it requires 7.5V at 750mA, and 4AAA give 6V.

LDM, the idea of the short blade is really good :), maybe in the next order I will buy a Thin walled Trans White blade to cut at 15 - 20 cm (I think 6" - 8").

Thank you all!

It's even worse than that, 4AAA NiMH is only 4.8V :(
