Unless you plan on holding the button down all of the time, I would suggest getting a latching switch.

I'd say it's safe to assume he has a sound board, since he has a speaker listed in there. Momentary might be the right switch.

I missed the speaker. :( I seen the buckpuck and momentary switch.
What about a speaker mount?
And a retainer clip for the pommel insert?

I'm cheap. PVC works well as mount. I probably should have included that... Oh, and I am using a soundboard.
Might use a retainer clip, or an O-ring. I'll take a look.

You can also bend a paper clip into a circle and use that as a retaining clip if you're feeling cheap. (Or if you just can't be bothered to find the right sized O-ring)
Which sound board are you using? Depending on your sound solution, you may not need the buckpuck.

I'm using a Hasbro Economy board. So, yeah, I'll need a Buck Puck.
Thanks though! I really don't want to forget anything. Oh, and that paperclip idea might work too.

I use a regular resistor with my '10 hasbro board.

Do you use AAs or AAAs? And how much life do you get out of them?
I also have a transistor.

I use a puck with mine. Just remember, it's a bit different than using a resistor. The wiring doesn't quite match up with the diagrams.

Yeah, I found the proper wiring diagrams for either using a capacitor or puck. I'll use a puck, anyway.
Parts are ordered (complete blade as well, not quite versed in the art yet). Now all I have to do is wait. :D

Resistor, not capacitor. ;) They are not the same thing.

I did say capacitor! Silly me.
Heh, wouldn't that be a charm. Wiring a capacitor...
