This is my personal saber, second saber made, first for me, first MHS.

i got my parts today, patience paid off. so i put the hilt together, and avoided the electronics for now. i think i would rather just do them once when i have the other parts i need to implement sound and all. so a bit more cash will get me the blade and the chassis parts as well as a speaker.

so without further ado, i give you:

MERCY

so there she is, i have her built. now im looking into a chassis design some more. the piece i was having made, proved to be to tall, so i have to cut down on length.

so i have some major cram fu to do!!! ill be redesigning the chassis and what i want it to do. until then i will not be putting in electronics. version two is going to include a more raised switch so there is hope.....

Can't wait for the finished product, are you planning on any shroudwork?

In before J-lo tells you that your pics are too big, and you posted two different pictures of wadded up newspaper, one picture of packing peanuts and a picture of the BOX

I like the style of the saber.

Yeah, dude, you were a little overly excited when you took your pics. We really didn't need to see a pic of the darned packing peanuts.

You need to re-size your pics. Nothing larger than 800 x 600 are allowed.

And, she's not really "built" yet, you just screwed the parts together. :p

When you get the chassis and electronics done, then she'll be built. ;)

you may have to rename your source file, then re-upload them with the option set to re-size on upload....

yes, i will be adding a shroud piece to it. i have the sink tube already, i just need to cut it. it will be a simple, but im going to powder coat it black to add some color.

so all in all, its defiantly not done! have to get a lot more to it. mostly electronics.

Nice! Do the packing peanuts come in red? How do you plan to mount all of them?

well, for an authentic look i would say the best mounting option would be a mouldable epoxy resin compound. and no, scientists are only on the midst of developing the elusive red peanut.
