Ok here is my question what are the dimensions for the Luxon and Seoul LEDs? cause I want to make a smaller saber, but I need to make sure it is big enough for the LED. Or am I not finding the existing thread in the forum? Thanks gang

define "smaller saber"...

2 questions first:
are you planning on mounting the LED on a star (typically 20mm) or are you planning on making your own heat sink/mounting plate?

Usually the main emitter portion of the LEDs is somewhere around 7-10mm wide (up to 15 if you count the mounting leads).

Here's a link to the data sheet for the seoul P4

I have a feeling he's asking about the entire assembly, with the LED already mounted on the star.

Some people don't realize that the LED is really just the emitter itself.

I have made optic holder/heatsink 'cans' before as small as 1" diameter for use with a star typ LED units. I have also made 'cans' as small as .75" diameter for use with the Rebel on PCB setup and the small optics. depending on your LED choice, .75" to 1" is about as small as you can go.

J-Lo is right I mean the whole set up star and all cause I am making a Firebrand Pattern Lightsaber for my GFs son who is 4 and it is going to be small. Would like to be able to make it "functional" if size permits that is why I am asking. Thank you gang for your replies.
