I messed around with using drawer handles from the hardware store a while back.

You can get different sizes, shapes, colours. And you could probably mount 2 or 3.

i made them for my saber using steel cut out with a dremel and welded them on, but i have no pictures because i took the prongs off due to stabbing myself in the hand all the time [:p]

i am a nerd, if you don't like it, i will cut you with my lightsaber

you can always try machining the metal out of sheet metal and anodizing it

Edit- or use Stirene,

Cutting it out of polycarbonate sheet might work.
http://www.usplastic.com/catalog/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=usplastic&category%5Fname=68&product%5Fid=10718

This company currently has some polycarbonate stuff on clearance, I'm not sure if this stuff is or not. (Btw, cool design, I hope you find somthing that works!)

If any of you live in slightly more rural areas, I found nice, 1/8" thick by 1.5" wide by 4' long raw aluminum bar stock (rectangular, not round) at Tractor Supply Company. I think 1/8" is a good thickness for emitter claws, personally. I intend to get a master template and cut out my claws from this, then sand them and possibly paint before sealing them to my emitter with car epoxy (JB Weld, more than likely.) Of course, I'm going to have to either cut in the grooves for them myself, or try and get Tim to do it, once his shop reopens.

By the way, Dacota, are you going to mask the handle and paint those details on your grip, or what?

Curious... why wouldn't styrene be duelable? Provided it's mounted well I see no reason it wouldn't be. Styrene is ABS plastic and I remember Scaarmor (he hasn't been around much lately[:(]) saying he used it a lot for his armor making.

With the mounting issue though I'd go with a metal you can weld.

yes im going to use a dremel to partly engrave the symbol then im going to have a place powder coat the hilt a bone color, and then have them powder coat the ribbed section in a dark titanium color like the metal that grievous's body is partly made of.then on the flat part of the mhs ribbed i will screw the prongs on.
