Hey everyone! I'm new here, so I'm not sure if I'm even posting in the right place. And there are a lot of threads, so I apologize if this is a repeat (just direct me to the right place. But has anyone messed around with lighting up the little battle damage cap on the Darth Maul saber? I was thinking it would be really cool, but there is very little room.

I've started to think it through. If I was to connect to the existing battery, that'd require some drilling and I'm not sure if there is room to drill holes for a wire in the casing (and I'm not confident in my skill to do so). Then I thought of a local battery, maybe some kind of button battery. But even then, to fit that all in there with a light and a switch, pretty tricky.

So I thought I'd save myself some time, money and frustration and see if anyone has worked on any ideas like this. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum :)
In the Gallery (http://forums.thecustomsabershop.com/forumdisplay.php?f=29) section here there is a stickied thread called MR Conversions (http://forums.thecustomsabershop.com/showthread.php?t=675) (easily found again at the top of the gallery section ;))

On the Last page (http://forums.thecustomsabershop.com/showthread.php?t=675&page=4) at the top, you can see that exact conversion done, by the master of all conversions (he's done more than anyone else), LDM. He may pitch in here, or when you have a high enough post count you can PM him for information on how be did it.

You can always just ask him yourself.
