the photos at the bottom of the page are after effects, not real blade but I'm working on getting the electronics ordered. I'll have more pictures soon.

Website tries to take me to a social networking site (I can't actually see it because it is blocked by my proxy at work).

Yeah, you need to post them to Photobucket to share here. I, however, have a membership there so I could see it. Nice work. Only thing I would suggest is changing out the slotted screws with button head screws like the ones in the store http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/8-32-x-38-button-head-screw-P128.aspx

If you want to stay with brass, you might want to try Ace Hardware. They usually have a wide selection of button head screws. Don't know if they have brass, but it's a good chance.

BTW, your costume looks great too. Very nice Jedi outfit.

Nice! What did you use for the grips? They don't look like the standard windshield wiper grips.

That is an interesting thing you did to the choke section, with the brass pieces screwed on to the choke. I like the way you did the grip section. It makes it more unique. Do they move with only one srew?

The grips used to be the normal windshield wiper style, and after much deliberation i had decided that it made the saber to bulky and uncomfortable, so i just took my knife and cut off the vertical part. The grips also have the 3M adhesive on the back so the brass screws are mainly there for looks. I'd have to say though my personal favorite part of the whole hilt is the blade holder, they did an excelent job customizing it for me.
