This started out as a jedi saber but i got to fooling around with different aging techniques and it ended up looking a little more darkside.

4" double female grooved
MPS pommel 6
MPS insert 6
covertec
parks box
4.8 NiMH\ recharge port
FX Maul board
P4 red
PLI
Reverse sound set up
Sinktube body painted with appliance enamel.
I hand cut the stainless steel and brass overlays.
I modified the MHS blade holder style 2.
This was a fun build, hope you all enjoy.

Very Very cool! I'm not sure how you'd grip it but it sure looks nice. Awesome weathering. I'd like to hear more about your aging technique? oh yeah...where are your sound holes?

Omgosh! Sorry about the huge pics. the 1st one came out the proper size not sure what happened to the rest.

There is a slide switch above the PLI for activation, the knob on the side was a red computer case fastener i trimmed down, the sound comes from the sides and the bottom.
Its 13.5" over all so its got room to duel/spin with.

The aging/weathering involved, sanding, scuffing, tumbling in a large bucket of screws and nails, acids, apoxie sculpt, and some mist/dab painting.

very cool..are those brass parts you added onto the end?

I was thinking of doing some etching using acid.I'm interested in faking heat marks on the tip of my saber.

I like what youve done with it makes me think its been in a sarlac for a while :)

Very cool. I really like that weathering job, and the PLI just adds that extra touch of Sith class 8) Good work, man.

Mmmm, cool... Weathering work is awesome, and the hilt itself looks very elegant with that "kind of graflex" emitter. The PLI is a real nice addition too, I like this hilt a lot. Great work!
