exactly. that's what drives me nuts about Cathy...it's the SAME strip EVERY friggin' time! How can there be a just and loving god when Calvin and Hobbes and Bloom County no longer exist, yet Cathy still haunts every section-4 of every newspaper in the country?

I'm with ya. The death of C&H was one of the most..unexpected things. THAT was a rich comic, man. That, and The Far Side. Sorry, something about animals in people clothes, waxing ironic...love it.

the way they got out of it, when the next season of the show was unexpectedly renewed, was a TV classic

the thing that gets me is...where the hell is Sledge now? these are the perfect times for him. A violent, sadistic, chauvinist cop that talked to his .44 magunum? Are you kidding me? This show ruled!

do you have any of the DVD's? i got both the box sets, and they rule.

why is it the best shows are also the briefest? i mean, two seasons of Sledge, two seasons of "The Young Ones," four runs of "Mr. Show," four episodes of "The Sketch Show"....and yet, American Karaoke, eh, i mean, Idol is still ruling the ratings?

No I don't have any DVD's, I don't think they sell them around here. Just like the Generic Lightsabers.

not to mention that had Seth Mcfairlane not been hungover and late to the airport, he would have been on that airplane that went down in Pennsylvania on 9-11.

dude, rent/buy the DVD's. they're totally worth it. pretty cheap, too, for a 4-disc box set with extras and whatnot.
