I am sure we discussed this before, but I can't find the thread. I'm going to restart it here.
I am converting a Parksaber to replicate my prototype saber. My main concern is adding sound to it. It uses a standard EL inverter with a 9 volt. Question: Should I use Hasbro or MR cards?
I had thought to use MR simply because it uses a latching swith instead of a momentary. I know there is a wiring diagram somewhere showing a Hasbro card for EL. Is there one for a MR setup? I know that I have to use a voltage reducer to drop the power to the sound card.
Has anyone actually done this yet? Please let me know.
