Any suggestions on wiring the MHS so that the button is not in a place easily smacked or pressed while using? My apologies if there is another topic like this, but I didn't notice it by searching.

For now I have the button inside the pommel so that it must be opened to turn on or off - that way no amount of swinging or goofing around will press (or break, for that matter) the button. Of course, that means it's not a quick process to turn on and off. Incidentally, filling the hole I have a hex bolt for decorative purposes which I think looks kind of neat. Anyone have suggestions?

switch at the butt. I love how JediSaberSmith does his recessed but I use a small rocker. never have to worry about hitting the switch unless you are using the hilt across someones head[}:)]

Yup, on the MHS it'd have to be in the butt as the rest doesn't have much room to recess a button. Maybe Tim would do that with the new "machine a hole" option...[?]

I don't think it'd be too hard to coutersink it yourself though.

Hmm that does sound like a good option. Nice work JSS.

Anybody have tips on doing that kind of counter sinking (besides being careful of course)?
