Just wanted to show you guys my deadpool costume, my girlfriend mailed it to me from her parents house, where it debuted at a local Con last October.

There are belts and harnesses that go with it, but it is really a pain to get in and out of yourself and I was in a hurry.

I just got it in the mail today so I haven't had time to mess with it and adjust the belts or anything.

The creator of Deadpool will be at HeroCon, here in Charlotte, and I intend to appear in costume.

But I also have my MHS saber parts coming in today...so I might create a fictional crossover comic called Darth Deadpool, and costume as that.

When people ask me about the costume and the saber, I'll get really superior sounding and say things like "it's more for the serious fans," or " -you- probably wouldn't have heard about it." :P

cool costume, I think the neck part needs to be little more tight fitting, but from what I can see excellent job!

yeah there were two errors in the costume when I received it from Moon Costumes...the makers.

1) it was too short, way off the measurements that I sent.

2) the mask was attached and it was impossible to get into, considering the sizing.

I had to take it to a local tailor and source out some matching fabric, and get the mask detached/ a neck added, and get an extension added at the waist seam.

I have a black collar that is fitted around the neck, that helps bunch up the neck fabric.

I am still annoyed about the neck and I am going to email the president of the company, and explain how unhappy I am for a 300 dollar costume. (400 with the belts, harnesses, and boots), and how I had to spend 60 dollars + fabric on the alterations, and I was only reimbursed 50 dollars.

here's the rest of the pictures I took today.

and here is a picture of the costume before the alterations. Notice how stretched out the costume is, and I'm not even in it. it's completely flat.

That looks like an awful lot of PVC. Man that's gotta be hot when you're in it.

Phew

when I originally wore it, it was Halloween night in Vancouver, Canada. That wasn't too bad. Yesterday for the new pictures? yeah it was hot, but not as bad as most of the star wars costumes (except the slave Leia metal bikini)

My jedi costume is hotter than Deadpool, and I'm sure stormtroopers/vader/mando costumes are hotter than the jedi robes.

Looks nice. I only wear my Anakin costume in the winter since it gets so hot. In the summer I wear my slave Leia metal bikini. It is very nice and cool and you have plenty range of motion too. LOL

EDIT: That vision is now forever scarred in your mind. hehe

We really did have a guy that was going to have to wear a slave Leia at Dragon Con because he lost a bet, but lucky for everyone else it fell through and he wasn't able to get the costume. He was really gonna wear it too.

thank god for that. You mando mercs might have had to sabotage the delivery truck if he was had been able to order one :p

Very little pay, but a lot of honor, preventing that image :p

Then again, maybe he could have joined Leia's Metal Bikini :p

Cool costume, that sucks that you had to have it altered after that price. The Merc with a Mouth is one of the best marvel heroes out there. It would be awesome to see a matching lightsaber. I'd like to see more pics when you get them.

the reason it looks so loose in that picture is because I had to get into it myself, and I can't zip up the back all the way without help, nor can I close the mask all the way in the back.

the next time I wear it properly, I'll grab some more shots in full gear.
