Is there anyone out there that can take a picture of two color blades side by side.

I want a picture with a 5w cyan and a 5w blue blade side by side

I am trying to decide on a blade color

Thank you very much

I don't know of a 5W cyann... The rebel is the best one IMO.

But anyway, these threads are the best to opick a color...

The colors will be basically the same regarless of the LED using it.

If you want an aqua/teal color... go with cyan.

If you want a blue/deep blue color... go with blue...

lux V cyan is VERY Bright if you power it properly... Cardcollector hit it on the head with his post... now the colors are similar... in the blueish area that is, the cyan (depending, on what bin it is) is more of a turquoise kinda color... which will be very distict between the blue...my opinion- if its possible get both :P

has a lux V cyan BIN 5 Overdriven at 1 amp. and i can tell you honestly that this saber has been so far the brightest saber i have built. i still have it actually. got it returned for some upgrades and maintenence. but everytime i turn it on at night i have to squint its so overpowering. i cant begin to imagine a P7 white (*rubs eyes*)

i have a lux v bin 2 cyan running on two 3.7volt li-ions and a 1000ma buck puck and it looks mint green to my eyes like a faded green traffic light nice and bright though. and i have a blue bin 4 v its a nice sky blue but not as bright .id post a pic but i dont have a digital cam .id say if you want a movie looking blue it depends on if you like the newer look go bin 4 royal blue if you like older go bin 6 blue.

yeah cyan is one of those half-ways... it kind of depends on what you look at just before you look at it :D ...bin2, even more so. Cyan historically doesn't photograph too well, it appears a lot more blue in pictures than to the nakes eye - again, the bin2 and bin3 even more so.

To my eyes bin2 is an aqua, and bin3 is darn-near green... everything higher than that IS green to me. But a cool light minty green. ;)
