Great job! It is a very well done, and elegant saber. My criticism, the switch. I hate toggle switches with a passion and IMO they have no place in the saber world in any way. You also seem to have a LOT of wiring going on in there. As in, lots of excess wiring. I would try to clean that up and consolidate it especially since you made a reveal feature with that crystal chamber.

I agree with Fender. An antivandal brass switch and bezel would be perfect in finishing off that hilt. AND FOR GOD's SAKE CLEAN UP THAT WIRING MAN!!!;)

A great job. I especially like the different metal tones. Kind of gives it a Steampunk feel. As to your question, if it were my saber, I would change it so that it is not so visibly "sinktube-esque." My big qualm is with the pommel. To me, it just screams sink tube. How to fix it? Well that's up to you; if you want to go hardware, get back in the store and check out some creative options. Sink knobs, other plumbing parts, or make something from scratch. Get creative! Have fun! Just my two cents.

Err... I think its "Illum", where Adegen Crystals are grown, unless Alum is a crystal growing susbstance in real life.

Cool saber. Don't change it. Build another. ;)

Everytime you use a Toggle Switch Domo-Kun eats a kitten

Great saber though I love the blade and what kind of sound card do you have in there, its a very interesting sound

If you read the comments you would know that it is a green goblin sword soundboard. Lolz on the Domo-Kun.

Nice job on that sink tube saber! I like use of different materials and layers!

I have to agree with Fender and LDM about the toggle switch. I''d change that to an illuminated AV if you can afford one with a brass bezel. A green dot style would look good on that one.

Another suggestion I have is if you can get hold of a large tubing cutter, is to add scoring lines that match up with the edges of the strips you have added near the emitter. Possibly even add some underneath the switch plate, too.

Yep, the switch needs to go bye bye, and the pommels looks hardware. Interesting sound board though. Does the Goblin have clash and swing sounds as well?

I don't mind the pommel. And the green goblin has clash but no swings if im correct.

The thing that disturbs me about this hilt is the 3 strips that are held on by a single screw in the center.

In the second pic down, you can see how the edges are lifting up slightly on the edges. I can imagine those edges getting caught on things and pulling up even more and cutting clothing or skin, because those things are probably sharp.

Make a window for that crystal to shine in all it's glory you must.

On the strips: JB weld 'em or Gorrilla Super Glue (works great on metal) to keep the edges down.
