I am looking for a parts list that would best make a Maris Brood like sabers.

Here is the list I have compiled over the last few minutes

4" Double Female Thread Connector
4" Fluted DFTC (Double Female Thread Connector)
MHS Ribbed Extension
Blade Holder Style 18
Double Male /w Slots
Double Ended Male TC
1.2" Double Female
Pommel Style 7
MPS Insert Style 6

And of course
Tonfa MHS Adapter
Tonfa Handle Style 1
Tonfa Pommel Style 1

According to the SaberBuilder the total length would be 17.26" which is not to bad for a guard shoto design.

Any ideas on this set up?

Note the black line is to show where the Tonfa handle would be put.

I'd go for #1, if you want a more traditional tonfa,
with the longer side as long as your forearm.

The other one might be better for balance, because these will have a blade as well,
so the overall length is longer as well...

But still, you are using the same parts either way.
I'd say, screw the parts together, stick in a blade and swing away!
then switch the parts swing again yadayadayada till you find what you like best.
