The little princess was made for my daughter, who requested a saber for a "princess ewok jedi." Okaaay. She wanted a purple blade, something shiny with gold and jewels and heart shapes. Sith beware!

I had to make it small and light enough for her, but had to fit everything into the hilt and my cram fu is WEAK. I've not measured the hilt or the blade yet. I've got a video that is still processing on youtube I can post if anyone wants to hear the board (again).

The basics:

P4 white with a purple filter.
Hasbro DVD battles version economy board
5v reed relay
5v voltage regulator
3.3ohm 5 watt resistor
4AAA rechargeable batteries
Radio Shack momentary switch
1.25 sink tube with one part 1.25 overlay
1.5 inch sink tube overlay with chrome sanded off (ala Masterjedeye's tutorial).
Sink drain pomel
Radio shack speaker
MR blade holder, cut to fit
MR blade w/ 4 ft cellophane (no reflected tip), cut very short for a little 6 year old princess.
Some craft decorative jewels
Black ribbed floor mat
Gold thumbscrews

Thanks to Cardcollector for helping me out on the wiring.

I really dig that layered look. And the brass looks fantastic.
