Lots of people have made blasters based on cheap airsofts pistols such as this one.
It is that it is not exactly the same pistol as the one that Han's DL-44 is based on, but close enough for costuming. I have seen a few people mod their guns to look more like the correct type also.

A lot of people also perfer the slightly more expensive all metal body version of the same airsoft pistol, for weight and durability, also is easier to mount things to the metal as it can be tapped for screws.
