Here is my 9th sets of Darth Revan Sabers I have made. Each version has had slight modifications. On this set the emitters and pommels were changed. I know Revan is supposed to have red or purple blades but I am thinking of maybe trying other colors on at least 2 of these. I am open to suggestions. All 3 of these will have the new 1" thinwall blades from Tim. I still have to add all the electronics and the switch for each saber but all the machining is done. All the parts are threaded and boy does this saber have some threads. 3 sets of male threads and 3 sets of female threads. Here is what I have so far. Once again, I apologize for the pictures. My camera keeps getting worse and worse.

EDIT: These sabers are 13" Long

It is only DARTH Revan sabers that are canonically red and purple...after Bastila'
s raid and his retraining in the Dantooine Enclave REVAN'S sabers can be whatever colour he finds crystals for...

So I suggest that you make one in each of the JEDI colours seen in KOTOR to signify the 'reborn' Revan...one Guardian Blue, one Sentinel yellow, one Consular green.

The sabers are very cool. I'm looking forward to seeing what they look like lit up.

It might help your pictures if you use a neutral gray cloth to shoot against, and shut the flash off and use a couple of lamps to light the shot. Try putting the lamps about 3' away from the subject, and 3' apart from each other, to form a triangle. Put the lights a couple of feet higher than the subject, and see if you can get daylight bulbs for a nice clean white. Mount the camera on a tripod to eliminate blurring. You may have to play around with the setup to get the results you want, but this is a good place to start.

Hope that helps.

My camera won't even take a picture in broad daylight with out a flash. I think the chip is almost gone, it used to take great pics when I first got it 10 years ago. It is horrible. Who wants to contribute to the Rhyen's new camera fund? LOL

My offer about a lightsaber for my camera still stands...;)
It is a Nikon Coolpix(r) 7.1MP with 1400iso...

If you aren't getting good pictures without the flash (which I NEVER use) try increasing the shutter speed. In decent light, this will reduce the exposure time and capture a less blurry pic...

If you are considering getting a new camera, 5MP are plently to get good clear photos. I always try to make sure a camera can be set to completely manual as well, because sometimes people are smarter than computers...

Huge fan of KOTOR. These look great. What did you use for the large ring on the pommel?

Ryhen custom machines most of his sabers. I'm sure he made those pommels himself.

Yes, all the parts of the saber were custom machined. I have a mill and lathe I use to make all my parts. This saber has 4 parts, the emitter, brass piece, main hilt and the pommel.
