Here's some picks of my "HERO" Luke Skywalker FX project. In my opinion this is how MR should have made it. Let me know what you guys think...

That hilt looks nice. Good styling.

I think the luke only looks good with the original design of a very thin under emitter portion. The thick neck kinda takes away from what made the thin-neck version cool for me.

I have heard that the replica lukesabers have good balance though. I really like the look of my anakin MR but it's not a practical grip for spinning the thing. I sometimes think how you would need a robot hand the grip the damn thing right for a fight...

Anyway nice work! Can't wait till I have some pictures of sabers I built.:D

Is the neck portion copper?

I agree, im not a fan of the fat neck either. But it is what it is right.

Did you remachine the whole emitter or is that a cover up like the FX copper kit?

<center>Read the FAQ (http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/sabers/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=552) or x-wing won't be happy. :(
Before posting did you check the Thread Index (http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/sabers/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=577)?.

It is not a cover up. I inlarged the original emmiter hole slightly. The piece that is comming out is actually the new blade holder.

The blade holder was made on my lathe. Thats also what I used to inlarge the stock emmiter hole. Its not a MHS hilt, its a Luke FX.

Too bad it's not for sale but I don't blame you, that's awsome.
