Ok, so thinking of giving trustfires a whirl on advice of others.

Some questions I'm having trouble finding answers for and would appreciate the guidance of the Masters. :-)

I've read through this and other threads:

http://forums.thecustomsabershop.com/showthread.php?t=9546

For now my builds are using LUX3s and P4s. MR or Hasbro Econo boards.

I've been told that a single 18650 is my best option. T/F?

If so, can I follow the tute above and just wire up the same way with one battery? Assuming there is not a holder to fit the 18650s....

I am not ready to tackle a recharge port yet. Would go with a disconnect/charger set up. If I wire up as in the tute, will I be able to recharge using http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/TrustFire-All-in-One-Charger-P346.aspx ?

I can't see how the batteries would fit in there with the wires soldered on?

The connectors are just purchased at a radio shack? Anything special I need to know on that?

Finally (for now!), any resistors etc. issues I need to be aware of if I use the 18650?

THANK YOU in advance!

No. In order to use this charger, the batteries (at least in theory) have to be removable. There are ways to jury rig it to work since you're only using a single trustfire, but that would require some...uh...creative wiring solutions. Better to get the more expensive Li-ion charger in the store or just find a battery holder that fits the trustfire.

Thanks cannibal. As far as "just find a battery holder that fits the trustfire" does such a thing exist?

There are no holders available for the 18650 batt.:(
