HOO-Ah! Where did you go for Basic. I spent 13 weeks at Ft Benning back in 93. I was in the infantry, so did basic and AIT at the same place. I don't miss fire watch.

Just remember this: No matter what your job is, when you get to your first duty station, there's going to be a lot more stuff to learn that they may not even have mentioned in AIT. For example, in my job as an intelligence analyst, they never told me I'd also have to do all the personnel security and physical security stuff I ended up doing.
