Thought I'd share something that I made for my Wife for Valentines Day.
I'm sure most of you guys have seen those Sun/Moon Jars...they have them at thinkgeek.com.
I thought I'd make my Wife a Star Jar...Cost was about $10 bucks.

Bought a single Solar Light from Lowes...about $6 bucks.

Used the Dremel to cut around the outside of the solar Panel, then glued it to
the inside lid of a Hobby Jar...about $2.50.

I sprayed the inside of the Jar with Krylon Glass Frost...couple bucks.
Then lined the inside with some semi transparent purple paper...$.60 cents.

Looks pretty good at night :)

The thing I like the most about it is it charges itself during the day, then turns on
by itself at night. I put an 800mAh AA Battery so it can stay on for a couple of
days without needing to charge.

Now my Daughter and Son want one...Teal and Green. Time to go shopping.

That looks very nice. Great job. I just hope my wife doesn't see it or I will have to add that to my list of things to do. LOL
