My first saber, I thought I'd share. I still have to install the electronics, their all soldered up on the bench waiting to be installed.

It will have a Seoul P4 Red/Orange LED driven by a MR soundboard.

Well done. You have definitely pulled off the look of an ancient saber.

Very nice job for youe first saber. Those dremel lines look very clean. I expect to see more great sabers in the future.

Thank you everyone for the encouraging comments! I hope to have the time to get it powered up this weekend. I have a couple more projects lined up after this one is finished, but I'm sure most of you know it's so hard to stay focused on just one saber because of all the cool tips we pick up along the way. Once this saber is complete I will post the finished work with the specs and a brief description of the weathering process.

If anybody saw my other post you would know that I fried the board while I was assembling this bad boy, and while cooking a second board on my sink tube economy saber I found the problem..... I did not wire the recharge port for a kill switch! I must have overlooked the note about how highly recommended a kill is for a saber with a soundboard, I was using the diagram for a direct drive configuration. So I have learned a valuable knowlage that will avoid another costly mistake.
