Hey there,

does the 5 degree lense for the Luxeon III also fit the K2, V or the Rebel?

For the Rebel some seem to prefer the Carclo lens over the LuxIII optics...

Question is, how much difference does it make. Doesn't matter either way to me though, I'll just go with what I can get.

Most everyone uses Lux optics, I can't tell the difference between the 5 degree, 10 degree, Luxeon, Carclo...

They will work fine, I try to stay with what is the cheapest and what I can buy from TCSS!:)

The carclo 8.7 degree optics seem to give a brighter beam than the 5 degree lux optics when used with a rebel... I havent tested it with lux3s. They also dont have the mounting problems that the lux optics do with the lens holders. The 5 degree lenses sometimes are nearly impossible to get to snap into the holder, and they have to be epoxied in.

Anyone try a carclo 8.7 degree optic with a p4 led and a 40 inch blade??
