View Full Version : Hasbro Dual Action Lightsabers?

Has anyone seen these in stores yet? Standard Hasbro Set up, but with a 6" secondary blade coming from the pommel. I'm curious if anyone has cracked one of these open yet.

This has been discussed before a long time ago, but to answer your query, they have the standard econo board in them , and the 6" blade just lights up.

Thanks. I didn't see any other thread about them, so I didn't know if they'd been discussed. It's a shame about the Stanadard Econo board, but I guess I might salvage that while I'm on the mile long list for a CF Board, right, lol?

Kewl, no worries, but next time use the search button/function, after a bit you will figure it out and find past threads/posts on related matters. Be patient with that function as it is a little frustrating at first. This is also a forewarning so you don't get flamed by the more senior members.8-);)

Lol, It's a little late for that. I kind of stumbled onto this site a couple days ago, and after about ten minutes of reading, I started posting questions all over the boards. I've been flamed to a crispy crunchy exterior. But Thanks for the help!

Heh, you have yet to be truly flamed, you've only been a little singed, thus far.

Hopefully you've learned from that and will not have to suffer the burn from actual flamage. ;)

The "duel action" lightsaber board, as previously mentioned, is better than some of the other boards in that there is no "flash on clash" or flash on startup. Rather, the blade gets a bit dim when you clash as opposed to completely turning off for a split second. Sound wise, it's still the same old cr@ppy hasbro sound.

My favorite econo board is still the Clone Wars ultimate lightsaber kit.

The Dual action has no swing sound, just clash. During the clash playback, it has a quick swing sound. That's it.

i have suffered 4th degree burns. seriously i pretty much fell in the flaming lava. but we all learn from our mistakes. took me multiple times to learn from mine. ;):rolleyes:

For Instance, I'm not one of those n00bs who are like, "Oh yeah, I'm gonna order a CF Board tomorrow!"

Though I have read that Tim is working on putting together a SoundBoard Replicator, so we have our own in-house "buttered Toast" Cards. I can't wait!

It's not going to be anything like a CF, Tim respects Erv's niche in the hobby. It will be geared more to fill in the gap that the UltraSound just left.

I see. Well, I'm also seeing Ultrasound cards on ebay for 95.00 right now. Do we know how legit these cards on the market now that they're discontinued?
