I like raw lemons but I don't eat them very often because they are bad for your teeth.

Raw lemons as opposed to........

cooked ones?

Cooked how? Baked? Grilled? Sauteed? Roasted?

This poll is silly and pointless.

If you don't like it, you are free to remove it.

I can't do that, because I'm not an actual Moderator. I only have the power of the Ban Button.

I'm just wondering why you started this.

I guess you're trying to have fun, but it just seems overly silly, to me.

Maybe I just need to finish my coffee this morning.

The only thing I like raw lemons in is lemonade... that and or a squeeze on fish when cooking, etc... I don't think too many people actually *eat* lemons, but I may be wrong about that one. Some people like my wife actually like the tart taste of lemon water.

For those who seem confused about 'eating raw lemons' I believe he means simply cutting a lemon open and eating it similar to an orange. I used to do this all the time (I don't know why some people find it so disgusting) but stopped a few years ago because I heard the juice is very harsh on your teeth.

Yeah, there's citric acid in lemon juice, very bad for the enamel on your teeth after time.

That "fuzzy" feeling on your teeth when you eat a lemon is the acid dissolving and etching the enamel.

I like them...but yeah brush your teeth afterwards.

Have y'all ever had a sweet lemon...my mothers ex BF snuck some back from his homeland of Sicily where they are apparently common he says...have never seen them in stores here though.

Hmm, never heard of those, and my paternal grandmother's family came from Sicily.

My mom and I just got a semi-dwarf Meyer Lemon tree and it's already budding, so we should have lemons in a few months.

I just made a batch of lemoncello. It tastes a lot like a raw lemon that has been soaked in lighter fluid.

I'd like to try eating a raw lemon after chewing on some miracle fruit. If you're never heard of miracle fruit, go google it. It's pretty amazing stuff.
