Thought I'd post some pics of some cool swords that I've run across.
A couple of these have some nice Lightsaber style hilts:

And These are some of my favorite swords, I'd like to think they'd fit in the Star Wars Universe:

The first ones actually remind me more of Blade.
Cool stuff though.

I have one of the katana 3000 swords too first thing i did when i saw it was think how to dupliate the grip as a saber. Love the thing, and the kit ray(think i spelled that right) swords are always cool.

Wish they shipped to Canada....
Don't worry, Thax. Just do a search for Kit Rae. He's the creator of the second set of swords, and he has some pretty boss daggers too. I'm sure you'll find a local dealer, he's a pretty big name in the industry.

Ick! I hate most of Kit's Rae's stuff. Most of the designs are way too impractical for actual use. Of course they're strictly wall hangers so I guess that works out but I still think a lot of his stuff just looks plain ridiculous. Him and United Cutlery (now owned by Bud K) are the wall hanger kings. They don't make real swords.

Agreed. You can't use them on anything, but 80% of the swords on the market for under $100 are that way. And roughly 40% of the ones over $100 are like that too, case in point of Kit Rae.
But since these are for costuming purposes, I don't think you'll need to actually use them.
