Here is another saber from my new buisness (323 Custom sabers). It was commisioned for a seven year ld's B'day.

there were several difficult things surrounding this saber. Mainly the fact we had to go to a funeral a week before the saber was due to be finished, so I made it in 2 days. I also had a strict budget to keep to...

I wasn't given a design, jus for it to be blue and "look like obi's but still custom" I wasn't given which obi so I kinda blended them all together.

So, onto some specs...
- Sinktube Style hilt with polywashers and ribbed rubber flooring.
- TCSS Guarded switch
- 1 Watt Starboard Blue (PM if wanting more info)
- hasbro soundboard
- Premium speaker

Glory pics!

Nice saber.

Although putting the accent LED bezel so close below the switch like that seems like it would be annoying when you have to press the switch.

Which Hasbro sound are you using? The Hasbro economy or the Hasbro FX?

Things have got so confusing now MR is dead

Anyways, great saber! Love that colour in the blade! It looks like a Bin 1 cyan to me... but I don't know how it looks off-camera :)

Considering that he's using a 1W LED, I'd say he's using a Hasbro economy board.

Actually, It works the opposite.:p
It almost provides a thumb rest without having to worry about acidentally turning the saber off.

A cheapy hasbro board, a hasbro FX isn't fit for a saber such as this...;)

The color is blue, it is a new LED I found, I like the color of these a lot. They have a nice light blue color to them.

A BIN 1 cvann would be more aqua/tealish...

Thanks DJ, I buy ribbed rubber flooring grip from Home depot. you know, the stuff you usually see on stairs and bathroom floors...
It fits perfectly between a 1.25" and 1.5" sinktube.

I'm a big sink tube user myself. How are you attaching your blade holder? I would think the screws would be where your grips are. I always have trouble with space issues on how I build because I am trying to make sure the 1 1/4 sink tube is exposed where the screws for the blade holder are going to be.

heheheh...
I used a dremel sanding drum to indent the inside of the polywasher. The washer then slides right over the screw.

I used a flush screw to hold the blade in.
