Something Strange happened today

The Wife decided to go to Hobby Lobby and wanted to drag me along.
Well...the Wife ended up waiting for me this time. :o (A very looong time!)

I kept wandering the isles...looking at everything that I could possibly use
on my next Lightsaber Build Project. ( I haven't even really started my first
Saber and here I am drooling over plastic crystals and necklace wire)

Oh...And I did buy 3 yards of 2" Black Leather for my Saber Hilt.

I think my Wife finally knows what its like to have to stand and wait...and wait...and wait! (I loved it) :rolleyes:

I can't believe I'm going to say this...but I really like Hobby Lobby!

Well Hobby Lobby does have A LOT of interesting things that you could break down or use for hilts. Plus alot of shiny things to be distracted by.

I could spend a long time in Hobby Lobby. Its worse if you do costumes and other props besides lightsabers, too.

Hobby Lobby is a great place to go.

I love it, because it still has the feel of a personal store. Not like one who has been taken over by corperations...

well the other day when i was in jaycar(electronics store) i was there 20min my wife and kids where in the car and i felt so bad... but not after i walked out with a few(not enough) parts :cool: i was a good boy i only spent $35

i was not going to bay $12 for a 1w green though

We have Michael's also...and Jo Ann's.
I have to confess...now I know where everything is in all these stores.

I even snuck another $100 order in to TCSS for more gear.

You guys are a Very Bad Influence! ;)

Now I am waiting for everything to get here so I can play.
I even re-arranged my Tech Bench/Computer Station.
And I've started a short (Actually very long) story about my Char Name, (Damin Kestler)
I'll release it after I complete my first Saber.

J-Lo, Hobby Lobby is a HUGE lobby, it is so huge in fact that they moved the rest of the store into the lobby. I guess that would explain what happened to the rest of the store. lol
