Hello all!

Update on page 3: http://forums.thecustomsabershop.com/showthread.php?t=10035&page=3

This is my newest saber. I've been waiting on parts for it, and I did two re-designs so it has taken longer to complete than I had thought. But this is the finished product. (I think, I might add some weathering)

Specs:
Lux III greed
US 2.5
3 accent LEDs
MHS parts
4 AA batteries

Nice saber

So does that red LED blink all the time when the saber is off or is there a way to power down the board too?

Nice saber. I think some weathering would look great on it.

I have a kill switch for it. I will probably switch to a rechargeable battery pack at some point. But right now the red LED just blinks all the time.

That is a good looking hilt. All the pieces came together well.

Nice combination of MHS parts. I think you have a pretty good eye for design - I think the middle of the saber would have been rather bland had you not added those three accent LEDs. They help break up the smoothness of that hilt section. The design has a pretty good visual balance imo.

thank you for the complements guys! It's nice to know that my fiance isn't the only one that likes my designs!

awesome saber man, im curious though why you used a lux 3 green with 6 AAs thats a big battery pack. you could have gone with a lux 5 since theres enough voltage there.

normally I would use 2 trustfires, but with the US2.5 I decided to go with the AA's (heat issues) I used the Lux III because that is what I had on hand. Like all my sabers, the LED has a quick connect, so I could easily change that out. I think currently the store only has blue Lux V's.

It says up there in the first post that he used 4 AA's....did he edit to correct it at 4 AA's?

Nice job on this one, Jamoup! I agree with Gundamaniac, nice combination of parts with perfect placement for those three accent led's!

Very nice...I'm usually not a fan of bare clean aluminum but this one looks great. Your use of the grip sleeve give me a few new ideas two. Those accent LEDS look awesome. I gotta learn how to do more of them myself..

I like this too it has a mara esk feel to it. I think some weathering would complete this saber nicely.

great looking saber there! I too, think some moderate weathering would look really good on it.

Very nice...I like the combo of Mara grips and the Qui-Gon emitter.

I am curious to see the weathering you choose.

As am I. I have been researching different weathering techniques. I'm still not sure how heavy I want to go.

Thank you all for looking and your positive remarks.

You left out the coolest part. It's that thing that's in the blade holder when the blade is not in it. ;)

Seriously though, cool saber man. I bet you are lovin' that CF goodness.

I think the coolest is the thing what's holding the saber. :p

;)

Cool upgrades, I like it a lot.

Congrats on the CF. I hadn't seen anyone do a red FoC yet.

Thank you, yes I did. It is a cut LED bezel and the plunger off a Bic pen.

"shinny"? Funny, it doesn't look like a lower leg, to me. :p

It does look shiny, though. ;)
